Call for Papers

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in education models. The classes of MICSS have moved online during Movement Control Order so as to promote online teaching and lead to a transition in the teaching practice. In view of this, United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) will hold the education conference in 2021. The objectives of this conference are to promote research practice, mutual interactions and to broaden managerial eyesight and formulate individuality. Besides, we also take the opportunity of the teaching models transition to explore the new normal of MICSS education with regard to the educational concept of “Enjoy Teaching, Love Learning, Empower Children to Attain Achievement”.

The conference will be held on 3rd and 4th July 2021 （Saturday and Sunday） at the New Era University College, Kajang. Educators and the public who are concerned about Chinese education are cordially invited to submit their research papers to take part in this conference.

Submission details are as follows:

Theme: The New Normal of MICSS Education
Participants: Administrators and teachers of MICSS, scholars and the public who are concerned about Chinese education.
Research Scope: Educational policy and system, school operation and administration, innovative teaching and assessment, student counselling and career development
Submission Details:

4.1 Date of Abstract Submission: On or before 20^th February 2021（The deadline will be extended from 20 February 2021 until 5 March 2021）

4.2 Date of Acceptance Notification: 31^st March 2021 (will be posted on Dong Zong Official Website)

4.3 Word Limit for Abstract: 1,500 to 2,000 (includes 4 to 6 keywords)

Each participant can submit only ONE copy of a personal paper and/or ONE copy of a collaborative paper.
Individual researchers of the accepted papers are required to do the presentation in person and substitute presenters are not allowed. A certificate of presentation will be provided to each presenter for encouragement.
The registration fee, meal and accommodation expenses will be waived for the presenters, however, they should be responsible for their transportation expenses.
